When we go on outings we usually try to get back before her scheduled naptime. The best-laid plans of mice and men ( and mothers) often go awry. Here's a few pics of her doing some illicit napping before we take her in. She hardly ever naps well after falling asleep in the car. As I recall, this day was no exception.

I truly don't know what this look is.

However, she does seem to be truely happy in the end. I like these full face smiles the best. One of these days, we need to try to catch some video of her doing some gurgly giggling as I kiss her belly and swing her up in the air. Meanwhile, I'll just keep doing it. It's pretty fun for all concerned.

Happy Half Birthday!

I can't believe Charlotte's already 6 months old. Bill took these on Wednesday on her half birthday.

Blowing raspberries is one of her favorite forms on communication lately.

She had her 6 month doctor's appointment this morning. She was 18 lbs 7 oz (I don't have the height cause Bill took and forgot....). She was a bit cranky this afternoon but did fairly well with her shots overall. No more checkups until 9 months.

This last one was my favorite. We'll pick up the actual prints sometime this weekend. And yes, great grandparents and grandparents should expect some wallet size photos in the mail soon :)
