Flowers

We went on a walk this afternoon and Charlotte stopped to smell the flowers (or pose for pictures as instructed by her mother).

Easter stickers

Thanks to Great-Aunt Carolyn, Charlotte had the second perfect rainy day activity-- Easter stickers. They kept her happily occupied for a good 45 minutes.

Yet, she will smile if you say "say cheese"

Oliver is working on his top two front teeth coming in. We're thinking within the next week or so they'll be cut.

Easter Eggs

Charlotte and Oliver were both sick yesterday with a cold. Combine that with rain all day long and by mid-afternoon any distraction was welcome. We ended up dying Easter eggs and it was a big success. Oliver and Bill supervising Charlotte directing the dying process

Oli really wants to be able to crawl

He can get up on hands and knees. He's managed to scoot back a few times, but so far no coordinated crawling. Unfortunately, he's favorite place to practice is his crib when he's supposed to be going to sleep. Last night I caught him rocking back and forth on his hand and knees. He literally fell asleep mid-rock in the crawling pose.

Oliver at 7 months

I had tried to post these on his 7 month "birthday" but due to technical difficulties, you're now be inundated with posts one after another instead.

Big hugs

Charlotte likes to hug Oliver. But she doesn't quite understand that hug does not equal head lock.
